Under the One Health Institute (OHI) at Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU), Bangladesh, the Epidemiology Unit has organized a pre-conference workshop on Quantitative and Qualitative Data Analysis, two essential branches of epidemiology, ahead of the 17th International Scientific Conference at CVASU. The workshop will be facilitated by experts from the CVASU Epi-Alumni and OHI-CVASU, who will guide participants on selected training modules. All necessary training materials and deliverables will be provided.

Quantitative analysis equips researchers with the skills to advance their academic and professional careers. Qualitative analysis, a leading approach in contemporary research, enables investigators to navigate community contexts and effectively implement research findings. Together, these methodologies enhance capacity building, promote networking, strengthen public health initiatives, and inform evidence-based policy and decision-making.

Training Objectives

  • Equip participants with practical skills in quantitative and qualitative data analysis
  • Enable participants to apply appropriate methodological approaches to address research data analysis challenges
  • Promote networking and collaboration among the participants and expert alumni
  • Provide the OHI, CVASU-certified training certificate and books on the studied topics
